Gloaming Behavior (for Goodall)

two-color lithograph

Gloaming Behavior (for Goodall) – Jane Goodall’s work observing chimpanzees in the wild has led to a multitude of discoveries about the primate behavior of our closest relative, some of which can be both familiar and disturbing. Here, a researcher observes a male North American cottontail leaping over a female in an attempt to impress. What conclusions these characters may derive about themselves while observing the North American cottontail are uncertain.
